Our Story.

PeopleBench emerged over a long journey working with educators on organisational strategy, design and change management in schools and school systems across Australia.

In 2017, we launched a research project to investigate the relationships between workforce variables and student outcomes, drawing on data from 22,000 students and nearly 3,000 staff across schools of varying sizes, locations and demographics.

The school leaders involved in this project saw value in this research and its resulting evidence base – and so did we.

In 2019, PeopleBench opened its doors to all schools across Australia.

We want to break down silos between schools for more open communication; share insights from across the State, Independent and Catholic environments; and contribute smart analytics to school workforce decision making everywhere.

Together, we can transform education by building better school workforces for the benefit of our students.

PeopleBench is proudly aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
