PeopleBench is a school workforce improvement company, disrupting the way that education workforce strategy and decision making happens in K/P-12 schools in Australia and the U.S.A.
When global teacher shortages and reputation and wellbeing challenges continue to threaten the current model of education service delivery, schools and systems of schools are looking for new, evidence informed, ways to Build Better School Workforces.
PeopleBench provides the Technology, Research and Advisory Services to make that hope a reality.
We sell a world-leading Software As A Service (SaaS) platform to individual schools and the systems of schooling that they belong to. We also partner with other organisations who are committed to the sustainability of schooling across the world in order to realise our vision of Education Transformed through better decisions, better workforces and better student outcomes.
As the team’s Junior Designer, you will work collaboratively to conceptualise, design, and deliver a range of print and digital assets for PeopleBench; including for the domestic Australian market and our ever-expanding US market in EdTech.
The Junior Designer reports directly to the Design & Digital Lead, providing support as required to other members of the PeopleBench team on projects and tasks aligned to the ongoing development of all print and digital assets that represent everything we do.
The Junior Designer may also take direction from time to time from other members of the PeopleBench leadership team, and may work closely from a design + content perspective with the Marketing & Communications Lead.
The Junior Designer will be required to perform the following key accountabilities:
The perfect new addition to our team will have some kind of formal qualification or certification in graphic or digital design, and this may be your 2nd job. You are ready to take the next exciting step in your career, combining relatively fresh formal learning with perhaps 2-3 years experience of real-life creating and designing.
As part of the work PeopleBench does, we sometimes need to travel. From time to time, employees may be expected to travel interstate, regionally and internationally in support of critical activities in the business. Business Development activity will determine where these demands arise and will be shared with other members of the team.
As a key member of the team, the Junior Desiger is expected to make some time available for networking activities from time to time. While this is typically achievable within business hours, there will be occasions throughout the year where attendance at breakfasts or evening functions will be necessary to perform your role well as a key contributor and inclusive team member.
In every interaction, our employees are expected to strive to convey behaviours that align with the PeopleBench Values of:
We take professional development very seriously at PeopleBench. We are all always learning.
As part of your employment, you will engage in professional development conversations several times during the year, and work toward a set of individual work goals for ongoing professional development – these will be agreed mutually through your discussions with your manager over time.
